Work It

There's nothing worse than being out of the exercise cycle and trying to start back up. Last week I attempted one workout, and it was literally the longest hour of my life. Never have I spent so much time cursing at the clock and praying time would move faster. So clearly, I'm in big need of some workout motivation right now. Enter Pinterest. I found these & am thinking of printing both out and putting them up in my house. I hope they inspire you to get moving this week too.

For more workout inspiration, my friend Holly posts some sweet workout mixes on her blog, San Delicious. Holly is a kick-a Bar Method instructor, so you know she knows her stuff.

Have a healthy & fit week, friends! xo.

  1. Hey Tiff,

Awesome how truly inspiring these are.

The last year has been a bit of a exercise adventure for me. When I left my mostly sedentary job and moved up north, I realized that I'd been eating poorly, lacking critical exercise and losing motivation - I found Crossfit.

I was a bit scared at first, being more of a soft guy, but 6 months later... I'm a new man. I think what inspires me about Crossfit is the community that develops in the gym, the short workouts, a trainer, and the focus on slow improvements by assigning points to workouts. It gets a bad wrap for being "too intense" but I'd tell anyone as a self proclaimed lazy guy, it's not true.

For me, the community aspect of the gym protects me from falling out of the exercise cycle. I know that my trainer is going to give me that funny look when I've been gone for a month.

    Thanks for the post!
    C

  2. Soooo what I needed this morning, on the day that I will start back working out (after a mini and unplanned hiatus). I don't feel like doing it but I gotta get back in the swing of things! I like these quotes!
